Location for this International Senior Product Manager for Industrial Power Solutions is the office in Warstein-Belecke (near Dortmund) in Germany or the office in Zwanenburg in the Netherlands or the office in the UK. This depends on where you live.  SENIOR International PRODUCT MANAGER Industrial Power Solutions, head office in Germany, the Netherlands or UK Job DescriptionAs an International Senior Product Manager for this company you work for all the product groups of the division Protect Power Solutions. Several Product Managers are working for the different product groups, you coach them and bring them to a next level of professionality. You are responsible for the overall product marketing and business strategies worldwide, you set and implement the product strategy in all the countries and resource plans for assigned product offer (Protect 5, Protect “35”, Transokraft, Rectifier SPR/TPR, Profitec, MIP, for industrial applications), in order to meet marketing, sales and financial profitability goals. You make the longer term plans for the future development of the business to meet projected growth within the budgetary restrictions. You give input to product management, development, production, sales and application engineering in various geographic regions, to execute your product business plans and to make sure the products are optimally positioned and supported in line with the global company’s business strategy. You coordinate and lead the efforts of sales and application engineering teams in preparation on major project realization. Further you advise about product developments, analyze direct cost of products and define budgets and cost development and oversee development of service documentation. Further you perform various business presentations for internal and external audiences. We are looking for a senior specialist with a helicopter view who translates his plans to the markets, performs constant market research, conducts in-field evaluations, identifies next market requirements, watches life cycles and thinks of strategies to position products and solutions into the markets. You decide on what features you need and develop, define and monitor the implementation of pricing policies. In close interface with your team you promote a global technical sales approach. You also provide input to the business line management in the area of sales policies, pricing, advertising and specific market requirements. You analyze implications of current and new technologies, as well as competitive product solutions and provide the management of accurate reports to enable effective planning and control. You have demonstrated experience in strategic and business planning, budgeting, financial planning and business case development and price analysis, product life cycle planning and forecasting and marketing. You have the ability to work with international cross-functional teams in various global locations, and have a good technical understanding. You are very close to application engineering and the industry and are able to talk with sales, quality and productions as well as with the management. Besides this you have experience in industrial markets (Oil & Gas or Utility, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Transportation, Infrastructure or Water). You are a self motivator with good organizational, prioritization and presentation skills and demonstrated leadership abilities.
